Division 8 AOH, Lawrence, MA held their Installation of Officers at Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford, MA on January 27, 2019 following a Mass celebrated by their Division Chaplain, the Rev John Delaney, VF. PHOTO CAPTION: Under bright sunny skies Division 8 AOH and LAOH of Lawrence, Massachusetts gathered on Saturday, June 1, 2024 for their annual An Gorta Mor Commemoration at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA at the An Gorta Mor Memorial that was dedicated in 2006. The Very Rev. John W. Delaney, Division 8 AOH and LAOH Chaplain, led the prayer service. Anne Collins, a member of Division 8 LAOH, recited prayers in Gaelic and Ed "Hoppy" Curran sang the National Anthems of the United States and Ireland along with several other musical selections. Massachusetts State Historian and Division 8 Historian, Frank O'Connor, gave an address on the USS Jamestown efforts to relieve suffering in Ireland. Following the service, refreshments were served.
